     งานแสดงช้างจังหวัดสุรินทร์ถือว่าเป็นประเพณีระดับชาติ กำหนดจัดงานในสัปดาห์ที่สามของเดือนพฤศจิกายนของทุกปี ณ สนามแสดงช้าง จ. สุรินทร์ แต่ละปีจะมีนักท่องเที่ยวทั่วทุกมุมโลกมาร่วมชมงานนี้เป็นงานแสดงช้างที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่นำชื่อเสียงมาสู่ประเทศไทยและจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ซึ่งจังหวัดสุรินทร์ได้จัดงานแสดงช้างอย่างต่อเนื่องมากกว่า 50 ปีแล้ว และแต่ละปีจะมีช้างเข้าร่วมงานไม่น้อยกว่า 300 เชือก
