ปราสาทตาเมือน

กลุ่มปราสาทตาเมือน
     ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศใต้บ้านหนองคันนา ตำบลตาเมียง กิ่งอำเภอพนมดงรัก ตดชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ตั้งอยู่บริเวณใกล้เคียงกันเป็นโบราณสถานขอมประกอบด้วยปราสาท 3 กลุ่ม คือ ปราสาทเมือนหรือปราสาทบายกรีมหรือยายกรีม หันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออก สร้างด้วยศิลาแลงเชื่อว่าเป็นธรรมศาลาหรือที่พักของคนเดินทางหรือบ้านคนมีไฟซึ่งสร้างในสมัยพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7
     ปราสาทตาเมือนตุ๊จ ห่างจากปราสาทเมือนไปทางทิศใต้ 200 เมตร หันหน้าไปทางทิศใต้สร้างด้วยศิลาแลงและหินทรายเป็นอโรคยศาล หรือโรงพยาบาลสถานที่รักษาคนป่วยในสมัยโบราณสร้างในสมัยพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7
     ปราสาทตาเมือนธม ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากปราสาทตาเมือนตุ๊จไปทางทิศใต้ประมาณ 700 เมตร ตั้งอยู่บนแนวเขาบรรทัด หันหน้าไปทางทิศใต้ ก่อสร้างด้วยหินทรายและหินศิลาแลงเป็นเทวสถานในศาสนาฮินดูลัทธิไศวนิกาย นับถือพระศิวะเป็นเทพเจ้าสูงสุดสร้างขึ้นตามแบบศิลปะปาบ่วน ในช่วงปลายพุทธศตวรรษที่ 16



COLLECTIONS OF PRASAT TA MUEAN
   
     They are located on the south of ban nongkhan na,miang sub-district phanom dongrakminor district on the thai-cambodian border the khmer sanctuaries are situated near each other comprised of 3 groups of prasat following prasats.
   
     Prasat ta muean or prasat yai greem is a prasat facing the east made of laterite stones. lt is believed to be a  dharma pavilion or the traveler's shelter or house of person built during the period of king chaiwworaman vll.
     Prasa ta muean tot is 200 meters to the south from prasat ta muean facing the south made of laterite and sandstone. lt was an arokayasala or hospital in the ancient times and built during the period of king chaiworaman vll in the 18th century B.E.

     Prasat ta muean thom is located about 700 meters to the south from prasat ta muean tot on the line of banthat mountain, facing the south, made of sandstone and laterite stones. lt is a hindu of sawai sect sacritying phra siva as the highest god. was built in bapuan art during the late 16th century B.E.
